Pricing for writing projects varies depending on the amount of research required for the project, the project's length and the time frame allotted. Since the amount of work may vary greatly on individual projects, most freelance writers quote prices individually.

However, most projects can be grouped in one of the following categories:

Advertising Copy/Advertorial (Print)
Copy is priced at $200 per 400 words.

Website Content
Quoted per project. Price for individual article reduces as quantity of articles increases.

Articles
Trade journal articles, magazine articles, and other copy that requires specific research is priced at $500 per 500 words.

Full-length ghostwriting projects
generally take six-nine months or longer depending on the length and research needed to complete the work. Prices for full-length novels and/or non-fiction works range from $10,000 to $20,000.

A down payment of $500 will be due at the start of the project to demonstrate your seriousness and justify the writers' time commitment to you. At that same time you may sign a general contract and any documents such as non-disclosure.

The down payment will be credited to your account total. Projects are paid for in installments, which are tied to the completion of chapters or the first draft of the article.
